My friend, Sue, took me on a drive through the countryside earlier this week. I am still recovering from a fall that left me with a shattered right wrist and injuries to my back so I am driving myself intermittently. As we stopped at crossroads, we skipped GPS entirely and took whatever road caught our fancy, enjoying the beauty of the colors trees are turning as we cruised by.
