Ozarks Technical Community College’s open house at their new Waynesville campus brought many visitors on July 23.
Attendees got to meet OTC officials who came to show off their new facility to the community.
OTC personnel were also on hand to counsel potential students on coursework, finances, and educational goals. At lower right, Karla Gress, left, of the school’s Student Services division, and Dana Shifflet, director of OTC’s Student Services Support, stood ready to help.
Many area residents have already signed up for classes, but OTC officials say there’s room for more. They can handle between 300 and 500 students in the building, with room to grow.
The addition of the west Waynesville campus offers 35 classes this fall in new, state-of-the-art classrooms, with two computer labs and a computer-run test facility.
