The beginning of the season hasn't started out the way the Waynesville boys' basketball team had hoped it would.
Coming off of five consecutive district title game appearances, the Tigers had to expect more than a 2-6 record heading into winter break.
But looking past Waynesville's early season struggles, senior forward Adam Grosskreutz has quietly taken care of business in the post, and emerged as the team's leading offensive threat.
"He's been our go-to-guy," Waynesville head coach Tom Bildner said about Grosskreutz.
