William “Bill” Wilkinson, 52, of Dixon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.
He was born Dec. 26, 1959, a son of Robert Wayne and Ann Patricia (Ruby) Wilkinson.
He had served his country for 25 years in both the United States Navy and Army, was a veteran of Kosovo, Bosnia and Iraq, and retired on April 1, 2005. At the time of his passing, he was an information technology specialist for the Department of Defense, Fort Leonard Wood.
Survivors are one son, Robert Wayne and Irene Wilkinson, Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Amelia Lynn Wilkinson, Kansas City; one granddaughter, Hillary Wilkinson, Anchorage, Alaska; his mother, Ann Winkelhake, Vienna; one brother Patrick Carl and Denise Wilkinson, Vienna; one sister, Bobbi Jo Wilkinson, Corpus Christi, Texas; two nephews, Benjamin and Duncan Wilkinson, Vienna; and three nieces, Bailey, Gabriella and Libbie Wilkinson, Vienna.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Waynesville, under the direction of the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
