  • Golfers will now pay for new fees for additional equipment at the golf course, updated summer hours at the indoor pool, an UV Service Contract and the annual Easter Egg Hunt where the items of discussion at the monthly meeting.
    Park Facilities Supervisor Betheny Martin presented the board with the following fee amounts... club rentals $7, pull cart $3 and the following golf balls are for sale; V48 $. 50 a ball, Top Flight XL $3 per sleeve (four balls in a sleeve), Pinnacle Gold for $5 per sleeve and Titelist HP3 $7 per sleeve.
    The committee members discussed the motion and agreed the fees were acceptable, they approved the additional fees and moved on to the next item of discussion the indoor pool hours.
    Martin suggested the following summer hours for the aquatic center. The hours would be – Swim Hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday-Monday, concession stand from noon to 4 p.m.   and swim hours on Tuesday are noon to 5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
    Martin also reminded the committee that the Waynesville School has not yet approved their 2012-2013 calender start date.
    Martin said starting Monday of that week the indoor pool will switch pool hours to the following until Monday, Sept. 3.
    The hours are as following -- 3-7 p.m. on Monday-Friday for swim and concession, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on  Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day Monday for swim hours and concession hours at noon to 4 p.m. The members discussed and made a motion to accept suggested hours.
    The committee moved on to discuss the Ultraviolet (UV) service contact for the indoor pool.
    Martin presented the Westport Pools Ultraviolet Systems Service Agreement for Tiger Typhoon. The contract is basically for maintenance to be conducted on the aquatics center.
    The committee members discussed the contract and moved for a motion to accept contract.
    The last item of discussion for the committee was the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will start at 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at the ball field next to the St. Robert Community Center.
    Members of the committee will start pricing Easter eggs and bunny suite from the following --Marshfield eggs for $.12 per each, Sunny Bunny eggs for $.10 per each in Springfield and a suggestion was made to see if the Pulaski County Sheltered Workshop could supply eggs.
