R. Warren Rollins 84, Dixon

R. Warren Rollins, 84, of Dixon, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia.

Born April 27, 1927, at Dixon a son of John Albert and Jennie Jeanette (Counts) Rollins.

Married March 15, 1948, at St. Louis, to Dale Stokes.

A United States Army veteran and had worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors: his wife, Dale Rollins, Dixon; one son & daughter-in-law, Danny and Dianna Rollins, Dixon; one daughter, Jeanie Jordan, Dixon; two  grandchildren, Kari Hayes, Vienna and Michael Rollins, Rolla; two great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Carter.

Funeral services start at  11 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Interment in the Dixon Cemetery

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012 and 10 – 11 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, all in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon
