So much for state ranked and the number one seed, as the Conway Bears fell to the mighty Dixon Bulldogs 9-0 on Wednesday night.

Dixon starting pitcher CJ Regan was masterful. Going 6 innings, allowing no runs and only four hits, while striking out five and walking just three.

Dixon would score first and score often in this game going up 1-0 in the top of the second inning when Landon Anderson scored on a throwing error.

The Bulldogs would add another run in the top of the third when Nathan Gilbert doubled to left center to drive in Solomon Weider, giving Dixon a 2-0 lead.
The game would start to get out of hand for Conway in the top of the fourth inning as Dixon would touch the plate four times to take a 6-0 lead. They would get their first run of the inning when Regan singled in Sabian Salais and that would just open the flood gates for Dixon. Jared Weider would hit into a fielders choice to drive in Lance Baker, Gilbert would follow that with a single to drive in Dylan Donati and Regan making it 6-0.

The Bulldogs would add another un in the top of the fifth, when Baker would single to drive in Chase Kelly. In the top of the sixth, Dixon would plate another run on a walk to Kelly that forced in Solomon Weider with Dixon's eight run.

Dixon would finally score their last run in the top of the seventh when an infield single by Solomon Weider drove in Donati with the ninth run, giving Dixon the 9-0 victory.
