Wilson Dean Doyle, of Dixon, was born January 31, 1929, near Dixon, a son of John and Nettie F. (Null) Doyle and departed this life at 1:05 a.m., Friday, June 08, 2012, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.  Mr. Doyle had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 83 years, 4 months and 7 days. Mr. Doyle was united in marriage on October 8, 1949, at Dixon, to the former Miss Mabel E. Ramsey, and to this union, three sons were born.  He was preceded in death by his wife, on February 9, 1994; his father, on March 26, 1980; his mother, on June 14, 1976; two brothers, Lloyd Doyle, on February 2, 1915 and Bobby Doyle on July 11, 1984; four sisters, Blanche Fuller, on April 11, 1994; Marjorie Jones, on August 17, 1962; Esther Schenk, on July 1, 2004; and Eva Doyle, on April 3, 2005; and one great granddaughter. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Saviour and followed his Lord in Baptism in the Gasconade River and was a member of the Needmore Mission Church, near Dixon.  Mr. Doyle had been the owner and operator of several gas stations and enjoyed working on his farms, hunting and fishing. Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Doyle include: Three sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Janet Doyle, Dixon; Bill and Debbie Doyle, Iberia; and Tommy and Angie Doyle, Dixon; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Willard Doyle and Junior and Betty Doyle, all of Dixon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Earl VanScoy, Dixon; and Lou and Leroy Jennings, Granite City, Illinois;  five grandsons, Duane Doyle and John Doyle, both of Dixon; Andrew Doyle, Milan; Matthew Doyle, Iberia; and Tyler Doyle, of Florida; one granddaughter, Rebecca Medlin, Bois Darc; two step-grandsons, Anthony Gilliland, of Kansas and Nathan Gilliland, of  Iowa; seven great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; and many other relatives and friends. Fond memories of Mr. Doyle will remain in the hearts of his dear family and all who knew and loved him. Funeral services were conducted for Mr. Doyle at 1 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes with the Rev. David Hokanson officiating.  Two vocal selections “Wings of an Angel” and “Meet Me Over There” were played for the service. Interment was in the Seaton Cemetery under the direction of the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.  Active pallbearers for Mr. Doyle were Duane Doyle, John Doyle, Andrew Doyle, Matthew Doyle, Dustin Doyle and Dylan Doyle.  Honorary pallbearers were Ben Medlin, Nathan Gilliland, Anthony Gilliland and Marvin Rose. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Seaton Cemetery with envelopes available at the Dixon office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
