  •   In the course of arresting Albert Dunning based on warrants from the coordinated bust last week, Daniel T. Ellzey, 21, managed to avoid an arrest by fleeing on foot, however, his mother and girlfriend were arrested for hindering prosecution when Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputies attempted to arrest him again at his mother's home in St. Robert, according to a press release from PCSD Sheriff J.B. King.  King reported that on July 2, at approximately 2:30 p.m. a Pulaski County deputy arrested Albert Dunning on a felony warrant at a residence on Hamlet Lane, but Daniel T. Ellzey, a second wanted subject, fled on foot as the deputy drove up the road to the house.  While at the residence, according to the press release, the deputy advised the reported girlfriend of Ellzey that he was wanted on a felony warrant and told her not to assist or help Ellzey in any way or she would be in violation and subject to a criminal charge. According to King's press release, at approximately 6:18pm on July 2, several deputies, acting on a confirmed tip that Ellzey was in a residence located at 14158 Tabernacle Lane in St. Robert,  converged on the residence in an attempt to arrest Ellzey.  King reports that the owner of the residence, Ellzey’s mother, told deputies he had just run out the back door into the woods.  The girlfriend was also present and she was found to be talking to Ellzey on a cell phone, according to the press release. Upon further investigation, the press release states that it was revealed that the girlfriend had purchased a cell phone for Ellzey after the deputy had warned her not to assist him and had given the phone to him. King reports that both female suspects were arrested for hindering prosecution and taken to the Pulaski County Jail. A statement of probable cause was sent to the Pulaski County Prosecutor requesting charges for this incident.  The prosecutor filed one count of hindering prosecution of a felony, a class D felony, on both Judith Ann Ellzey, age 48, of St. Robert, and Jessica Lyn Munoz, age 21, Dixon. The bond on both was set at $10,000 each and both are expected to post bond and be released from custody. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for Daniel T. Ellzey, age 21, a white male five foot three inches tall, weight 150 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair.  Daniel T. Ellzey is currently the subject of an active felony warrant for the distribution/manufacture/deliver of methamphetamine as a result of the search warrant service on June 28, 2012. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at 573-774-6196.
