Life Care Center's residents and staff are working at being Christmas elves during the July heat to help needy children around the world. The facility is taking part in Operation Christmas Child, a project sponsored by international Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse which delivers shoeboxes filled with goodies to children in more than 130 countries around the world.
