  • Just 11 days after being cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, former Waynesville Tiger Gijon Robinson was signed by the San Francisco 49er's on Monday.
Robinson now joins seven other tight ends in camp, including Pro Bowler Vernon Davis. This is the fourth team that Robinson has played for, the other three are the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Rookie linebacker L. J. Fort currently sits third on the Cleveland Browns depth chart for middle linebacker but according to the Cleveland Browns website, Head Coach Pat Shurmer thinks Fort has had an excellent camp and is playing very well. He would go onto say that Fort has good instincts and the right size and ability to play the position.
    C. J. Mosley continues to perform well at camp and could be looking at opening the season as a starter at defensive tackle. He started the pre-season game against the Giants on Saturday.
