• 21-year-old from St. Louis charged with armed robbery

  • A 21-year-old man from St. Louis is charged with first degree robbery after a reported armed robbery occurred on Teardrop Road in Devil's Elbow early Saturday morning.

    The victim told police that the three suspects took cash, a TV, and a cell phone from her residence.

    Later that night, the same victim reported that the getaway vehicle was located at 15785 Hallmark Lane in St. Robert and the suspects she described earlier were on the front porch of the home.

    As deputies arrived on the scene, the victim was then shot by one of the suspects in her right thigh.

    Tyron King Spence of St. Louis was taken into custody and charged with first degree robbery and remains in the custody of the Pulaski County Jail.

    The investigation is still ongoing and police are still looking for the two other suspects involved. The victim was treated and released from the hospital, according to the Sheriff's Department.
