The Waynesville High School girls' volleyball team won their first game of the season on Tuesday night as the Tigers defeated St. Clair two games to zero.

“We finally are starting to put things together,” said head coach Holly Davidson.

Waynesville took the first set 25-12 and never looked back as St. Clair could not get anything going in the game. Waynesville would also take the second set 25-13. Junior Alexis Olney had nine kills, sophomore Chelsey Howser had five aces and junior Alyssa Arnold had 15 assists.

Waynesville will play at home tonight against Springfield Hillcrest. Game time is 5 p.m.
