The Dixon High School softball team has been a hitting machine since losing to Crocker in the Frisco League softball tournament finals last weekend.
Dixon defeated Plato 22-0 on Tuesday night and then beat St. Clair 16-6 on Wednesday night.
Sophomore Maci Ray was the winning pitcher in both games. She pitched five innings against Plato, allowing one hit, no runs and striking out six and pitched five innings against St. Clair, allowing three runs and striking out five.
Seven of the nine starters had at least two hits against Plato and all nine starters reached base. Senior short stop Hunter Yoakum had three hits and five RBI's.
Junior outfielder Kali Nelson hit a three-run home run against St. Clair and finished with four RBI's, senior third baseman Dakota Purcell and junior outfielder Rebekah Woody had three hits. Purcell also scored three runs.
Dixon game on Thursday against Newburh was cancelled due to weather.
