Celebrate Oktoberfest at Der Essen Platz where you can order a traditional German feast. The restaurant serves a full menu including saurbraten, schnitzel, rippchen, sausages, klopses, seafood and fish.

Owners Daniel Holton and Noelle Ark have an extensive history in making fine cuisine.

Noelle, a native of France, spent her teenage years in Alsace Lorraine and owned several restaurants on the east coast before moving to Missouri. Being a chef for many years, she loves to prepare wholesome German, American and French food. Her other passion is baking strudels, pies and cakes for her guests. Daniel, whose great grandparents were born in Leck, Germany, oversees the dinning room and makes sure there is always a good selection of German and French beer and wine in addition to a full bar.

Check out Noelle’s bakery where you can take home pies, german chocolate cake, bavarian wedding cake and strudels. If you like soups, the Cajun with chicken, pork and rice or the Hearty Potato Leek is available by the gallon or half-gallon. Carry out orders require 24-hour notice.
