Be sure to check out the Harlem Ambassadors on Wednesday night in the middle school gymnasium.
The fundraising Harlem Ambassadors basketball team will tip-off Wednesday night at the Waynesville Middle School.
What is happening: The Ambassadors basketball team will "provide quality entertainment and create memories that fans will take with them," according to a member of the organization.
Why you should attend: The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of basketball including spectacular dunks, hypnotic ball-handling, dancing and comedy.
Unlike other harlem-style basketball teams, the Ambassadors work closely with not-for-profit organizations to help raise funds for community charities and improvement projects, as well as groups such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity.
Lade Majic, the team's coach, said, "At our shows, we want the kids to know that they're part of our team too. We invite as many kids as we can to come and sit on the bench, have a front row seat during the show, and get involved in all of the fun stuff we do."
When: Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.
Where: Waynesville Middle School
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at the Eyeglass Center in St. Robert, Lone Oak Printing on the Square in Waynesville, or any member of the St. Robert-Waynesville Lions Club.
