STOVER, Mo. (AP) — A 25-year-old man has been charged with killing an elderly couple in their mid-Missouri home after stabbing himself and telling arresting officers he "didn't mean to do it."
Ronald James Blowers of Stover was charged Friday in Morgan County with two counts each of second-degree murder and armed criminal action and one burglary count. Bond is set at $1 million. No attorney is listed for Stover in online court records.
Officials say 82-year-old Wayne L. Wells and 71-year-old Mable I. Wells were found Tuesday in a home in Ivy Bend, south of the town of Stover.
