Waynesville High School increased security this morning several threats were made via social media, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department, Waynesville Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Waynesville High student resource officers all worked together to investigate the threats.
"Nothing was substantiated, but we just wanted to be sure," said Sheriff J.B. King.
There are currently several student resource officers patrolling the building to help ensure the safety of the students.
Waynesville High School dismisses at noon today.
