The Dixon Bulldogs continue to improve on offense as the squad earned its 10th win of the season on Tuesday night over St. Elizabeth.
Two quarters of 20 or more points powered the Dixon boys to a 64-51 lead headed into the final quarter. A solid lead allowed Dixon to slow down on offense and concentrate on defense, which held St. Elizabeth to 13 and 12 points in the third and fourth quarters.
Dixon finished with two players in double-figures; senior Collin Holzer netted 27 points and senior teammate Solomon Weider rattled in 25.
Tuesday night's 81-63 victory pushed Dixon to 10-4 (3-0) on the season and into the Iberia Invitational's semifinals against Vienna at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
