ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) — A soldier from northern Missouri has been awarded the Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in Afghanistan.
Staff Sgt. Troy Green, who lives in the Cameron area, received the medal during a ceremony Tuesday in St. Joseph.
