  • National signing day for prep football recruits took place Wednesday and two of Waynesville's senior athletes committed to Avila University in Kansas City, Mo. Wide receiver E.J. Green and linebacker Tim Moore both signed letters of intent with members of their family, senior teammates, and head coach Rick Vernon.
