  • Organizations help clean up city through new program

  • The City of Waynesville and the Park Board have started a new program to help improve different parts of the city called Adopt-a-Spot.
    Through the program, volunteers organizations clean and police their areas for litter, weeds, vandalism, etc. for a two year period, beginning on Pride Day.
    So far , United Methodist Church, Civil Air Patrol, Tiger Football Team, Boy Scouts Pack 202 and the Waynesville Tiger Club have each volunteered to patrol an area of the city including Roubidoux Park, Laughlin Park, Roubidoux Walking Trail, the downtown Square and the Middle School/Farmer's Market area.
