  • Command Sgt. Maj. Jerry Faulk, Fort Leonard Wood's garrison command sergeant major, provided the keynote speech during Fort Leonard Wood's African American/Black History Month observance Feb. 12 at the Pershing Community Center.
In keeping with this year's theme "At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation and the March on Washington," Faulk referenced both events as well as those who contributed to America's rich history.
The 399th Army Band Jazz Combo and Wood Elementary School Wood Steppers performed during the event which was sponsored by the 3rd Chemical Brigade.
