  • Downtown Waynesville and Fort Leonard Wood featured on “The Bachelor”

  • During Monday night's episode of ABC's “The Bachelor,” Lindsay Yenter and Sean Lowe visited Waynesville and Fort Leonard Wood.
     
    The couple visited downtown Waynesville and the show featured several local businesses and landmarks including Hopper's Pub, the Pulaski County Courthouse, the Old Stagecoach Stop,Talbot House, Lost in the Woods Antiques, Sugar on Top Bakery, Eircil's, and the Roubidoux Park.
     
     
    “This has been such a fun experience for the City. We are thrilled with the national exposure we have received, Waynesville Mayor Luge Hardman said. “ I have been fortunate to meet Lindsay and her family. They are wonderful people. This seems to be the year for Waynesville, from Bar Rescue and Brad Bohannon, to the X Factor and Vino Alan and even Mrs. USA is from Waynesville.”
     
    After the date, Yenter took Lowe to meet her family on Fort Leonard Wood. Lindsay Yenter is the daughter of the current commanding general of Fort Leonard, Maj. Gen. Mark Yenter and Lisa Yenter.
     
    The show highlighted several soldier training facilities of Fort Leonard Wood.
     
    During the visit to the Yenter's, Lowe askes Maj. Gen. Yenter for possible permission to marry him someday, to which the two star General granted.
     
    At the end of the episode, Lowe picked Lindsay as one of the final three candidates.
     
    Watch for Lindsay on next week's episode of the Bachelor on ABC at 7 p.m.
