Saturday's Kid's fishing derby postponed
The annual Kid's Trout Fishing Derby that was scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Stone Mill Spring Recreation Area has been postponed by the installation's conservation officer due to unsafe road conditions. The rescheduled date will be announced as soon as information becomes available.
BOSS still plans to host plunge at Fort Leonard Wood lake Saturday
The Better Opportunities for Single Service Members 'Bold in the Cold' event is still on for 1 p.m. Feb. 23 at Training Area 250. Appropriate attire is required. Prizes will be awarded for the best team costume theme, best couples theme, best individual costume, youngest plunger, old salt and individual with the most moxy. The event is open to the public. Father Daughter Ball still on for Feb. 23
The Installation Chaplains Office plans to hold the Father Daughter Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. Feb. 23 at Nutter Field House. A photographer will be available beginning at 5 p.m. for those who wish to arrive early. Tickets are sold out for this event.

The Waynesville district-wide science fair has been moved to Monday, Feb. 25, at the Waynseville Career Center. Judges will begin at 8 a.m. and individual building winners will meet with judges from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The awards ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. (This event was previously scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, but was postponed until Monday, due to the weather.)
The STEM Expo Night cancelled
