FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. – Former Georgia Bulldog and Dallas Cowboys running back, Herschel Walker, is slated to visit Fort Leonard Wood March 7 to speak to service members on coping with mental health issues.

The Heisman Trophy winner's speaking presentation is scheduled from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by an autograph session to conclude at 3 p.m. in Abrams Theater here.

The theme of his presentation is "There is no shame in getting help; I did." Herschel provides emotional and motivational support to service members, veterans and military families by conducting public speaking engagements. Herschel has visited some 51 military installations, sharing his story of hope to more than 18,000 troops.
