Class 5, All-District 10 girls team announced

In a competitive district, the Waynesville High girls outlasted all contenders to take home a second consecutive Class 5, District 10 championship in 2013. Three of the Lady Tigers student-athletes were named to the All-District team Tuesday including freshman forward Kallie Bildner – who led Waynesville scorers this season – sophomore guard Chelsey Howser, and junior forward Hannah Bland. Also recognized for her outstanding coaching ability was Lady Tigers coach Brittany Matlock who earned the Coach of the Year award.
