Partridge Elementary teachers scored very well, reaching "deep implementation," on all Professional Learning Community areas evaluated during a recent South-Central Regional Professional Development Center (RPDC) external evaluation.
Dr. Michelle Smith of the RPDC shared with Partridge teachers that when a school has been recognized as an Exemplary PLC by DESE, the next year they normally drop off.
"In the case of Partridge, you have continued to raise the standards and develop innovative approaches to documenting student progress, PLC collaboration, developing programs for student success and focusing on teamwork," Smith says.
Dr. George Lauritson, principal at Partridge, thanked the teachers for continuing to reach higher levels of knowledge to better serve their students.
"I am very proud of each staff member for their achievement and dedication," Lauritson says. "Working as teams, they have reached new levels of collaboration and commitment to each other and their students."
