  • Chemical Corps to celebrate 95 years of service

  • The U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School plans to celebrate the Chemical Corps Regiment’s 95th birthday June 28 here on Fort Leonard Wood.
    This year’s theme is “Remembering the past, moving toward the future.”
    Several events are scheduled to take place starting with the Honor to our Fallen Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. on the Memorial Grove.
    From 9 a.m. to noon in Baker Theater, the regiment will host a state of the regiment address and cake-cutting ceremony, the Sibert Award presentation, a Senior Leadership Course plaque dedication ceremony, and the Hall of Fame/Distinguished Member of the Corps induction ceremony.
    A ribbon cutting ceremony signifying the expansion of the Technical Escort Division is scheduled to take place at 2:15 p.m. in the Lt. Joseph Terry CBRN Responder Facility.
    The event culminates with the Green Dragon Ball that begins at 5 p.m. in Nutter Field House.
