JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Jay Nixon today appointed Kimberly Skaggs-Henson, of Crocker, as the new assessor for Pulaski County. The position became vacant upon the death this spring of long-time Assessor Roger Harrison.
Skaggs-Henson, a Democrat, has been with the Pulaski County Assessor's Office since 1993, and has served as the deputy assessor since 1996. She has been a certified real estate appraiser since 2005.
"Kim Skaggs-Henson brings a tremendous amount of experience to the position of assessor, and I am confident she will ably serve the people of Pulaski County," Gov. Nixon said. "I also want to express my appreciation to the family of Roger Harrison for his decades of public service to Missourians."
