Five of Waynesville's up and coming young athletes in grades 6 and 7 attended the nationally acclaimed Offense-Defense Football Camp. Zeke Rogers, Tyler Gayman, and Gabe Haedt attended the 4 day camp at Avila University in Kansas City. Zeke was named the Most Valuable Player as a wide receiver. Tyler Gayman received a Performance Award as a wide receiver and Gabe received a Performance Award as a defensive lineman. Tyler Campbell and Keyshawn Smith attended the camp at Webster University in St Louis. Tyler Campbell received a Most Valuable Player Award as wide receiver and Keyshawn received his Performance Award as a running back. All the boys received invitations to participate in the All American Bowl for Youth at the Orlando Florida Citrus Bowl. This event will take place in December. Additionally each boy received an invitation to the Offense-Defense Elite Camp July 26 through 28.
