ST. ROBERT – Several charges were filed against an area man July 25.
Donovan Overby, 42, of Rolla, will face 11 felony charges of statutory sodomy, allegedly committed between 1996 and 2012.
According to a statement of probable cause, submitted by Missouri State Technical Assistance Team investigator Brian Bailey, each of the charges brought forth were committed within the Pulaski County border, mainly in Waynesville and Crocker areas.
The statement alleges that Overby married an unidentified victim's mother in 1996 before committing "more than 10 but less than 20" incidents of sexual abuse in Waynesville.
The victim, now 22 years old, also alleges that Overby told him not to tell his mother during the times the crimes were allegedly committed.
The statement of probable cause also cites Overby's nephew as a victim.
Also unidentified, the second victim alleges that between the years of 2010 and 2012 Overby allegedly committed sexual abuse 11 times near a pond located in Crocker.
The second victim reported to his grandmother what happened, but the grandmother refused to believe Overby stating "Donovan would not do that."
According to Bailey, Overby denied all allegations.
Overby is currently being held in Pulaski County Jail on a $150,000-per-case bond, with special conditions set forth.
