  • A bomb threat received Tuesday morning by Pulaski County Sheriff department dispatchers caused the closure of all Pulaski County offices and courts held in the Courthouse for the day. Sheriff Ronald Long said that due to extenuating circumstances, officials requested Fort Leonard Wood for bomb detection canines and an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Unit. The county courthouse remained closed the entire day so an extensive search could be made. No explosive devices were discovered, and the building was rendered safe by law enforcement and EOD officials. Pulaski County deputies are working diligently to bring this caller to justice, according to Long. All offices and courts in the Pulaski County Courthouse were open for business on Wednesday.
