  • It’s time to register your team for the 2nd Annual Adult Dodge Brawl Tournament at Waynesville High School.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at WHS for community members 18 years of age and older.
Every year, Snack In A Pack holds both an adult and a youth dodge ball tournament.  At last year’s adult Dodge Brawl Tournament, the Snack In A Pack program raised $4,446.
Teams of six to 10 players will compete for the number one spot. Last year’s winners were from Sellers Sexton.
“We as adults don’t often get many opportunities to play or to try to hit other people with a ball, so this is something we are looking forward to,” laughs an upcoming contestant with Team Ballz of Fury.
Teams may register now through Nov. 1, 2013. Early registration is open through Oct. 18 and costs $80. After Oct. 18, the registration fee will be $100 per team of six to 10 players.
The Snack In A Pack program provides supplemental food to students of the Waynesville R-VI School District who may not have access to an adequate amount of food over the weekends and long breaks from school. For more information about Snack In A Pack or the 2nd Annual Adult Dodge Brawl event, contact Tai Kimes at (573) 842-2651 or send an email to spack@waynesville.k12.mo.us.
