WAYNESVILLE – Lightning could only briefly delay Waynesville's final regular season win, which came over Ozark in Tuesday's 2-1 victory.

Tiger forward Shane Jewett (Sr.) struck first with a go-ahead goal in the first half. Then, after Ozark tied at 1-all, Waynesville's Logan Long (Sr.) booted a Vince Houston (Jr.) corner kick into the net for the game-winner.

Waynesville keeper Jon Moore (Jr.) finished the night with five saves.

The Tigers finished with a regular season record of 13-9, and are set to take on Camdenton (7-10) in the opening round of the Class 3, District 10 tournament.

The game will be played at Lebanon on Nov. 4 at 6 p.m.
