Ten different players got in the scoring column on Tuesday, as the Iberia High School boys' basketball team blasted School of the Osage 72-28 in non-conference play.
Iberia, ranked No. 3 in the Missouri Class 2 state poll after finishing 28-4 overall and placing third in the Missouri Class 2 State Tournament last season, took a 23-8 lead after the first period and was in control the rest of the way. It was 39-18 at halftime 62-23 heading into the fourth period.
Darrien Dickey, a 6-1 senior guard, paced the Iberia Ranger attack with 17 points while 6-9 sophomore center Dexter Frisbie added 10 points and 6-3 junior forward Dustin Bloodgood grabbed seven rebounds.
Iberia also won the junior varsity game.
The Rangers will travel to Vienna on Friday for another non-league game (6 p.m.).
On Saturday the Rangers are slated to play Newburg at 5:30 p.m. in the semifinals of the weather-delayed Frisco League Tournament at Laquey High School.
