Big second and fourth quarters allowed the Dixon High School boys’ basketball team to post a 73-52 non-conference victory over Vienna Monday in a make-up game.

The Vienna Eagles took a 18-11 lead after the first period. However, Dixon scored 23 points in the second quarter to tie the game at 34 at halftime.

The Dixon Bulldogs, now 2-2, outscored Vienna 15-6 in the third period and 24-12 in the fourth quarter.

Korey Burrow, a 6-1 junior, had 20 points to lead Dixon while 6-0 junior guard Hayden Yoakum added 18 points.

Chandler Harker had 16 points, Jordan Garnett 11 and Braedon Patton 10 for Vienna.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to play Plato at 6 p.m. Jan. 2 in consolation play of the Frisco League Tournament at Laquey.
