  • (AP) — Friends and family of a Jefferson City man who's been missing since Dec. 12 are asking the public for help locating him.
Randy Chugg disappeared after he apparently argued with his girlfriend. Some of his belongings were found on the bridge that carries U.S. 54 and 63 over the Missouri River bridge in Jefferson City.
Police are investigating the disappearance as a suicide. But Chugg's family told KMIZ (http://bit.ly/19zCIZU ) that they don't believe that theory because Chugg had too much going for him. The family is urging anyone who may have seen him on the bridge on Dec. 12 to call police.
Police say after the two argued, the girlfriend drove to the bridge and saw Chugg on the pedestrian walkway, but couldn't find him after parking her car.
