  • Victims Rights Week Golf Tournament raises $1,000

  • Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Hillman recently announced that the 2014 Victim's Rights Week Golf Tournament raised more than $1000 for local charities that support victims of crime.

  • Kevin Hillman, Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney, recently announced that the 2014 Victim’s Rights Week Golf Tournament raised more than $1000 for local charities that support victims of crime. 
     
     This year’s tournament was played at the St. Robert Municipal Golf Course and was a scramble format.  St. Robert Mayor George Sanders did the honors of sounding the horn to begin play and hitting the first shot with Waynesville Mayor Luge Hardman and Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long among the players.
     
    The funds raised from the tournament will be donated to Kids Harbor, Genesis House, and the Victim Advocate Program of the Prosecutor’s Office. 
     
     “I wish to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to the players and the sponsors of this year’s event for their support,” said Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Hillman.  “The purpose of this event is to help raise funds for some great organizations in our community that support victims of crime while having fun, and I look forward to hosting this event again next year.”
