ROLLA - The second-seeded Rolla High School boys’ tennis team was beaten by top-seeded Springfield Glendale 6-0 Wednesday in the championship match of the Missouri Class 2 District 10 Tournament.

The Glendale Falcons improved to 16-1 in dual-meet play while Rolla fell to 7-5. Glendale was to meet the District 11 champion in Class 2 sectional action on May 24.

On Tuesday Rolla advanced by beating third-seeded Waynesville 5-1 while Glendale shut out fourth-seeded Lebanon 6-0 in semifinal action. Rolla’s semifinal match had been scheduled for Ber Juan Park in Rolla, but was moved to Waynesville due to the rainy court conditions.

On Tuesday Rolla singles winners were senior Aidan Gelles, senior Parker Nesbitt, junior Jarod Rieth, junior Ben Hushaw and senior Priyank Madria. No doubles matches were needed to secure the Rolla victory.

Nathan Graham lost to Robert Osborn, 6-2, 6-4.

Aidan Gelles beat Hunter Sadler, 6-2, 6-3.

Parker Nesbitt beat Nels Lund, 6-1, 6-4.

Jarod Rieth beat Kyle Roberts, 6-4, 6-1.

Ben Hushaw beat Brian Fields, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4.

Priyank Madria beat John Parker, 7-5, 6-0.
