Woman admits to having sex with 15-year-old three times, told police she "thought he was kidding" about his age.

A married Fort Leonard Wood woman who was caught naked in her car with a 15-year-old boy in the Lebanon High School parking lot has been charged with rape. She told police she thought he was “18 at the youngest.”

Natalie Kristen Westefeld, 25, has been charged with three counts of second-degree statutory rape and three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy after police discovered her with a 15-year-old boy in the backseat of Westefeld's Ford Fusion Saturday at 2 a.m.

According to the probable cause statement, Westefeld told police the male she was in the vehicle with was 20 years old when she was questioned at the scene. Police then discovered the boy was 15 and Westefeld was taken into custody.

Both Westefeld and the victim told police they met on a dating app called Badoo about four weeks ago.

The boy said that in order to register on the application he had listed his age as 18 years old. Westefeld said that his profile stated he was 20 years old.

The boy told police that he advised  Westefeld he was 15 and about to turn 16 on the application. Westefeld told the boy that she would talk to him via text message, but only as a friend, according to court documents.

Westefeld told police she “really liked” the boy after messaging him back and forth several times. She said that the boy asked her to meet up and she told him “she was married but having some trouble.”

According to court documents, the boy told police that the two had seen each other on three separate occasions. The teenager would sneak out of his home shortly after midnight and Westefeld would pick him up to have sex at the high school parking lot.

The boy said that he attempted to make excuses to not see Westefeld. But when he told her he couldn't see her because he needed money, Westefeld continued to offer him money, which he said he took on occasion.

Both the boy and Westefeld told police they had sex on three separate occasions on June 15, June 29, and July 5.

When police asked Westefeld if the boy ever told her his age, she said he told her but she “thought he was kidding.” She said in her opinion he was “18 years old at the youngest.”

Westefeld is currently in Laclede County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
