WAYNESVILLE — Waynesville Athletic Director Josh Scott unveiled the newly remodeled basketball court this week and revealed the surprise he hinted at last week.
On both baselines the words “Waynesville” are painted in orange and black digital camouflage.
“Dr. [Chris] Berger challenged us to think outside of the box and make our floor unique,” Scott said. “I have not seen lettering like this on any other court.”
Scott said Waynesville High School has a great partnership among the community of Waynesville, St. Robert and Fort Leonard Wood and the camouflaged lettering is the school's way of showing Tiger pride and orange and black go perfectly with the military community.
