  • Waynesville High School will welcome new students to grades 9 through 12 on Friday, Aug. 8, with orientation/transition programs for freshmen and upperclassmen.

  • Waynesville High School will welcome new students to grades 9 through 12 on Friday, Aug. 8, with orientation/transition programs for freshmen and upperclassmen.
    Freshmen Transition Day will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at Waynesville High School.
    Letters, including information about limited bus routes on that day, will be going home shortly. Freshmen will receive their schedules at that time, meet many freshmen teachers, enjoy free lunch (pizza), play games and enjoy an orientation to the building.    
    In addition, a New Student Transition Day for sophomores, junior and seniors new to the district will be held at the same time at WHS.  Upperclassmen who attend will also receive a free lunch.  Upperclassmen are encouraged to bring their class schedules, if they have them.
