Waynesville teenager reported missing since early August

Authorities are investigating several leads that might help find a missing teenager who has been reported missing from Waynesville since early August. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Alexandria M. New, 16, left her Waynesville residence sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 4 and 6 a.m. Aug. 5 and has been missing ever since. 

The Waynesville Police Department confirmed that she has been classified as a runaway and authorities believe she is not in danger. 

New has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 116 pounds and 5-foot-2. New has a tattoo on the back of her neck that says “Lil Sis” and another on her collerbone that says “Inhale the Future, Exhale the Past.”
