In the Feb. 17 edition of the Daily Guide it was reported that Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District was looking to apply for a grant to build a new fire station in the Crocker area.
That information was incorrect. Although Jeromy Moore, who spoke to the commission about the subject, is a paid firefighter for Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District, he is a volunteer for Crocker and was speaking as a Crocker volunteer. Crocker is looking to apply for a grant to build a new firehouse, not Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District.
