A Friday night stabbing incident sent a man to the hospital and woman to county jail.

A man was taken to the Hospital in Springfield during the night Friday night due to a stabbing incident in Pulaski County.
Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Bench released a statement in which he said a man had been stabbed in the 14000 block of Highway Z, a local hotel.
The call came in to Pulaski County 911 Communications Center about 8 p.m. Friday, according to the statement and involved “a female that had stabbed a male.”
Pulaski County Ambulance took the male victim to Springfield for treatment “with serious but stable injuries.”
The female suspect was taken into custody and placed on a 24-hour-hold in the Pulaski County Jail, “pending numerous charges.”
Additionally, the statement from Bench said the female suspect “assault(ed) two correctional officers” once she was transported to the jail.
