Next week is National Library Week!  The theme this year is “Libraries Transform”.  If you have a story about the difference a library has made in your life, we’d love to hear about it.  Each Pulaski County Library branch will also have fun giveaways for our patrons along with some special door prizes.  We’ll have Open Houses at each library, and our Mayors will sign proclamations recognizing the important role of libraries in our communities.  We’ve also got brand new library cards and are offering free library card replacement (normally $2) during National Library Week, April 10th-15th!
We are really excited this year because we are also having informational meetings about our Friends of the Libraries and about all of the resources and opportunities available at the library that not everyone is aware of.
Richland Library – Tuesday, April 11 – Open House from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Informational Meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Crocker Library – Wednesday, April 12 – Open House from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., and Informational Meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Waynesville Library – Friday, April 14 – Drop in anytime for the Open House, and Informational Meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Please plan to attend and learn more about your library!

Book of the Week

“Twelve Angry Librarians”, by Miranda James – Well, I had to choose it for the book of the week, didn’t I?  Intrigue, murder, grudges, librarians?  Count me in!  Find “Twelve Angry Librarians” at the Crocker Library, and find out what those librarians are so angry about.
