Two Southwest Elite Ozark Wolverines are honored as Youth All Americans.
They played in the Diamond All American Game. Their coach, Miguel Rivas was also awarded by coaching the 3rd Grade White team in Virginia Beach Virginia.
Jayden Braun and Antonio Rivas are both All American Players. They were part of the 3rd Grade White team that was coached by Rivas along with players from across the United States. The 3rd Grade white squad won 20-18.
“Coach Miguel Rivas and players Jayden Braun and Antonio Rivas all brought home knowledge learned from there,” Rivas said.
Antonio Rivas was further rewarded by winning the Most Improved Player Award. This was given to the player that improved the most from the day they arrived at the event until the last practice before the game.
They are a traveling team that will compete in Springfield this year.
“We are going to play in the Champion Youth Football league in Springfield Missouri,” Rivas said.
This past April the Wolverines placed 3rd in the Midwest Classic in Kansas City. They will compete in the Missouri State Show Me Games this July.
“We are hoping to win it. After 5 months of being together we are hoping to do good,” Rivas said.
