Saturday night fair attendees have an amazing night to look forward to with ChristiAna Ball.

 The 2013 winner of the Army’s Operation Rising Star will be performing that evening from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Ball and her band play a mixture of country, southern rock and blues. They will also be playing other great hits you're sure to sing along with. Their show is full of energy and the band gets the crowd moving.

The combat veteran gained some fame after winning the Army’s talent competition Operation Rising Star. She has performed all over locally and even at the White House.

Ball spoke about how she feels so very blessed to have the opportunities she has had. Ball said that it has been a long road but she feels it's been worth every minute.

“I've had the honor of working with many exceptional musicians along the way, and have grown and learned a lot from all of them,” Ball said
Ball’s current band members are Cody Wood, bass and vocals,Travis Carter,Guitar and vocals, Kenny Bates, guitar and vocals, George Cobb, drums, Sam Norfleet, sound engineer/Stage tech, Rob Wood, stage tech and Stacy Ball,manager/booking/PR/stage tech.

Ball talked about how it seems like Rising Star, where she got her start, was so long ago. She said that she is in a place in her life where she is really enjoying what she's doing and is just taking it all in.

Ball stated, “The guys working with me right now are almost a match made in heaven. We all enjoy each other's company and have a deep mutual respect for each other which makes rehearsals and gigs alike, something to look forward to no matter how tired we are.”
