This weekend you can celebrate freedom with fun on the Square, see some very cool old cars, or get your bluegrass on.
1. Freedom Fest on the Square & Cave State Cruiser Car Show
Saturday, June 24, come and enjoy a fun day on the Square in downtown Waynesville. There will be a variety of vendors, food, and music, as well as plenty of activities for the kids such as a bouncy house and games. The Cave State Crusiers will be having a car show in the park just a short walk from the Square on both the 24th and 25th.
2. Pioneers of Blue Grass Concert
Friday, June 23, blue grass music fans are in for a treat. The Barn, near Dixon, is hosting the Pioneers of Missouri Bluegrass Concert and Awards. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Award recipients include Burl Copeland, Mona Jones, Harold Rowden, Jim Winters, Luther Withers, Russell Withers, and Ralph Withers. 3. Poker Run for the Elbow Inn
A poker run is being held to benefit the historic Elbow Inn, which was devastated by the flooding this spring. The run begins Saturday June 24 at Coltons Steakhouse and Grill in St. Robert at 11 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. at the Buckhorn Shrine Club. There will be food, entertainment, and drinks, as well as a 50/50 raffle and items up for auction. For more information, contact Shawn at 573-855-3966.
